After a long and hot day touring Death Valley we decided to let the day fade out on Dante’s Viewpoint. The night was quiet, warm and clear. In this long exposure shot, I captured the distant glow of Las Vegas behind the mountains towards the East of Death Valley. Another car leaving the spot during the shot created an unexpected but welcome additional light effect.After a long and hot day touring Death Valley we decided to let the day fade out on Dante’s Viewpoint.
