I never thought I’d be writing about wealth prediction, but here I am. Last Tuesday, I was having coffee with my old friend Marcus — you know, the kind of catch-up where you start with “how’s life” and somehow end up solving the world’s problems three hours later.
Marcus had just sold his boutique marketing agency that specialized in sustainable brands. Nothing huge by Silicon Valley standards, but enough that he won’t be checking his bank account before buying concert tickets anymore.
“The crazy thing,” he said, dunking his biscotti for the third time, “is that I never saw this coming. Remember when we were 25 and thought we had it all figured out?”
