If you’re creating (written) content online, you’ve probably heard that you need to start your own newsletter.

There’s a reason people give this advice. Your newsletter is the online audience you actually own. Social media platforms can shut down at any time.

Besides that, you can also be more authentic through emails since you don’t have to optimise for any algorithms or follow guidelines.

You’re not here to listen to me brag about the importance of a newsletter though, so let me share my strategy.

I’ll start by telling you this: all of the 45 new subscribers I gained in the past 30 days came through my new funnel.
