Does Starving Help Reduce Fat?
Found the answer after paying a good price for it.
Did starving myself help me lose fat?
No. It didn’t.
It may show some results in the short term, but in the long run, it does the opposite.
Here’s how I know that — not just theoretically, but from lived experience.
Backstory
This semester, I had classes from 9 to 11 AM and then again from 3 to 5 PM for almost three days a week.
So that gave me a four-hour break in between. I could have gone home and come back, but that involved a lot of walking, waiting for a bus, and praying the conductor wouldn’t reject me for no reason.
Sometimes they just wave you off like you asked for a free ride.
So I stayed at the university.
I passed the time reading, watching shows, hanging out with friends, and sometimes even dozing off (yes, on a classroom bench). But one thing I wasn’t doing…

From 9 AM until I got back home around 5:30 PM, I wouldn’t eat anything. The only thing that entered my system was water.
