I get paid real, government-accepted money to write. I also make my own schedule, set my own rates, and haven’t stepped foot in an office since 2016.

Put simply, I’m living the creative introvert’s dream.

That said, as a , I have a reputation to uphold. My clients include publications like Bustle, NBC, and Food & Wine — and these clients would drop me like a hot potato if I didn’t have my stuff together.

Like any other job, mine entails knowing the industry, though the tools and tricks I use daily can benefit any professional in any business.

Some are Google Chrome extensions, some are phone apps, and others are habits, but all of them improve efficiency, productivity, confidence, and skill, so I can make money doing what I love.
