I’m sure we do not keep track of which country was added but I can say India is the one that stands out the most.

Besides the popluation size, India is leading in the use of computer or the internet. How I know that? Just look at where did our customer service went? And the one time I hired someone to build a website, was hacked before completion, hacker group claim they were from Romania.
Many of the countries added have advanced in knowledge and technology support but the opportunities I see have always been limited.
Yet, the opening of MPP in these countries gives some beginner writers a chance to explore the possibility while earning some income on the side.
Do expect high revenue for Medium and for writers with some audience ready to read and interact from newly added countries.
When there is a change or this time major changes, opportunities are nearly endless.
