Welcome
E³ is a place to learn from others and share your insights, awareness, observations, ideas, humour, and wisdom through engaging stories.
We have three goals —
- Host stories that entertain, enlighten, or empower.
- Support all our writers and help them pass the Sinatra test — if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.
- Put the reader first by delivering diverse well-written articles to suit all interests.
New writers
E³ has grown steadily and achieves high engagement. We have been praised for the time and effort taken to develop our writers.
As part of the boost programme, it is taking even longer to manage the day-to-day running of the publication, this has adversely affected the time its editors can concentrate on their writing.
We are still taking new writers, but have introduced a waiting list.

We are not a reading club, but we ask all writers to follow and subscribe to E³. That way you can support other writers here by reading the articles that interest you. We find this is reciprocated.
Submissions
- We accept all topics.
- Submissions must comply with Medium’s Rules, Plagiarism Guidelines, Duplicate Content Policy, Ad-Free Policy, and Distribution Standards.
- We do not accept plagiarism or stories written wholly or partly by A.I.
- All submissions must be in draft format only. Read on, it is in your interest.
- Please pay attention to spelling and grammar, these are important for an enjoyable reader experience.
- Adhere to the Medium curation guidelines. This includes linking sources, correctly crediting photographs, and correctly using titles and subtitles.
- Please respect all editor decisions, our feedback is designed to help you.
- Articles are normally scheduled for publication within 48 hours. We do not publish in bulk. They will be placed in a timeline so that your article sits at the top of the publication for a reasonable time. Currently, we only publish a maximum of five articles per day.
- We ask that you use the proper format for your Title and Subtitle.
- All images, videos, quotes, and gifs must be credited.
- Style choices for your article will be subject to the editor’s discretion.
- You are not obliged to use E³ as one of your tags, but if you can’t think of a tag that would help your story, feel free to add us.

Before being accepted we will view your profile and sample your stories. Subscribing to our publication, reading the articles that interest you and engaging with our writers will give you an idea of the standard we accept.
When you request to join our publication, we will send you a handy guide for writing on Medium and E³, this includes what you can expect from the publication.
This includes a checklist to help you with your submissions.
We also include The Magic Art list of writing tools from basic to advanced. These can be read at your leisure as you progress on your writing journey.
