The Cat I Had Wasn’t A Cat

I’ve been so devastated lately. It’s like I had known a truth for ages and am now being told that it was just a myth.

I recently got my younger daughter a 3-month-old kitten (British Shorthair). It’s been over a month, and the kitten still doesn’t know her name and doesn’t come when she’s called. Instead of drinking water from her water bowl, she jumps on our dining table and drinks water from any cup.

I am now told by friends and found out from searches on the Internet that our kitten’s behavior is very typical of cats in general. No wonder all my friends commented in the past when they met my old cat Mimi that she was a dog and not a cat. Even those who didn’t like cats would say that they liked Mimi because she was like a dog. I never understood why they said that. I just took it as a compliment to Mimi.

As days go by, I miss my cat Mimi more and more. She disappeared a few years ago when she was 14 years old. She was either taken away by someone or eaten by a snake. According to two animal communicators…
