Speaking to the press today, former U.S. President Donald Trump made several remarks regarding the ongoing situation in Gaza:
“Gaza should become an area of freedom; the situation there has been bad for years.”

“If I were president, October 7 would never have happened, and Iran would not have been able to fund or arm Hamas.”
“Gaza’s population is about 1.9 million — large, but not overwhelmingly so.”
