My last pregnancy with our little girl was the most exhausting of all my pregnancies.
Zero energy
None of my previous pregnancies were so draining. It was hard to do anything on some days because I was so exhausted. I just wanted to hibernate. I would wake up and fall asleep exhausted, realizing I barely spent any time with God or in prayer that day.
Some days I felt like I had no energy or strength to continue on. On those days, I had to call out to the Lord and rely on Him for peace, rest, strength, and comfort (Psalm 3:4–6, Psalm 130:5).
Even though my body was exhausted and everything felt impossibly hard to do, I could still bring it all to Him.
I could still sing His praises and thank Him for being there with me in the discomfort and pain. I trusted in Him — that He would get me through the hard days, help me feel better, and bring me out stronger on the other side.
