To be honest with you, I don’t listen to male podcasters especially Black male ones, not because I don’t like them, I am very indifferent to them. I neither like or dislike them, but I do find them laughable, or sometimes catch second hand embarrassment as a Black person — when I really consider what they are saying as a group of men. For the last Women of Colour Around The Table Column for 2024, let’s piss ourselves with laughter!

recent interview with a Black woman on an Australian podcast called Bittersweet was one of these occasions I really considered what was being said. It made me circle back around, take a deep look at his wording, viewpoint, and “advice” he has for Black and brown women. It could be argued his latest attempt to influence Black women could lead to two things for Black women and men, if anyone listens to him:
· Black men could permanently take up residence as the underdogs of society
