Jack has successfully performed the DEAL tasks (define, eliminate, automate, and liberate) promised by Tim Ferris to give him the dream life — he has defined what he wants in life (to read and play golf), he has eliminated all the unnecessary and unimportant tasks (laundry and Monday morning meetings with his boss), he has automated the remaining tasks (he has a virtual assistant calling his wife every few hours), and he has liberated himself (or rather his wife has liberated him by leaving him).

Now, he is unemployed, divorced, and smelly. But at least he is working fewer than 4 hours a week.
