I Read Brianna Wiest's Latest Book — And These Are My 2 Cents
Book: The Life That’s Waiting. Date of publication: 2025. Genre: Self-help. Publisher: Thought Catalog Books
I first read Brianna in 2023, and became quite a late fan of the hyped and wise young writer, whose career started at a very early age and a long time ago.
My first purchase also turned out to be my favourite book of hers yet: 101 Essays That Will Change the Way You Think. I highlighted any quote I found inspiring, and keep that copy on my living room table, for whenever I want to flip the pages again. Shortly after reading that one, quite surprised at the age Brianna had at the time of publication, I dived into the audiobook samples of The Pivot Year, The Mountain is You and When You’re Ready, This is How You Heal.
Brianna’s books have the thematics and pattern that flow between psychology, philosophy and self-help. With motivation and comfort setting the tone of her writing, it is easy for the reader to feel touched by the paragraphs. The audience is for those who feel lost, discouraged, or just need a reminder that they are where they should be, and everything will be fine.
However, I felt that it was a little bit different with The Life That’s Waiting.
