In December 2023, Argentina elected as president. Since then, as expected, the overall feeling has been a lack of direction on the country’s climate policies and commitments.

Because Milei doesn’t only dismiss scientific views on global warming but also has a dim view of environmental protection. For the new administration, is a to be understood as a natural, cyclical phenomenon with with industrialization or human activity. The administration is also the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
