Goodbye from Share the Love
an announcement for our writers and readers
Dear writers and readers of Share the Love,
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closure of the publication for the foreseeable future.
Our ship has been without a captain for several months. We tried to reach our founder, Martin Rushton, but to no avail. We hope that he is safe and well in these troubled times.
A ship without a captain can’t go far. The loyal crew of , , , and kept the ship afloat, editing submissions as they came in and publishing them as soon as we could. But without ownership of the publication, we were stuck. There are some things we just cannot do.
We have loved reading and sharing your work, and hope to see more of your writing elsewhere on Medium. You might like to consider Genius in a Bottle, the publication which is home to three Share the Love editors, where we are introducing a new relationship-focused section, Dear Genie, for the new year. We would love to have you on board.
