Maybe they need you more than You Need Them

I have called them many times and left voicemails.

But they still never reply or even send a text message explaining their reasons for not answering my calls.

I love them and care for them, but if they don’t bother

Then I am not some stupid person to keep calling them and being rejected, like I don’t have any self-respect.

These are conversations that me and you would have with ourselves after our loved ones don’t answer our calls or reply.

“Shush,” your ego:

For a few moments, stop the negative thoughts and put yourself in their shoes.

Ask yourself, when and why would I choose not to answer my loved ones' calls despite my will?

Neither time nor people stay the same in different situations.

You might be at your highest and positive mood calling them, but they might be dealing with difficult times.

There could be many reasons for not answering your calls for the sake of love and respect.
