Everyone is an Artist…. Until Rent is Due.

We are all a little bit of everything. You can be an artist of anything. Artists bring their imagination to life, it doesn’t matter how. Painting, writing, sketching, crafting, DIY, pottery — anything that excites you is a form of art.

I write, but when I can’t decide which thought to hold onto from the rollercoaster in my mind, I draw. I’m not an expert. Sometimes it’s just uneven boxes filled with random colors. But it helps me breathe.

And that’s when I realize, we’re all artistically inclined somehow. Even if you don’t think you are, chances are you have an aesthetic hobby you’d happily dive into… if your rent wasn’t due.

Someone said on Instagram;

Rich kids being able to do art for a living may be a reflection of their privilege, but to me, it's more a reflection of the fact that a human who doesn’t need to worry about money would often choose art. I wish we all had that right.

And honestly, it validates everything I’ve been feeling.
