How to use ’Connect with Google’ on Polkaswap
The ‘Connect with Google’ feature expands access to Polkaswap from several devices and browsers, offering a hassle-free experience to create or import your SORA account. All this without any external wallet.
[NOTE: This feature is entirely optional. You are always free to choose the account access you prefer.]
Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, this article will guide you through connecting your Google account to , highlighting the style and freedom it offers.
- Go to your page and tap the Google option.
2. Choose your preferred Google account from the Google sign-in pop-up (if logged into multiple accounts).
3. Tap on Create account. (If your preferred Google account has already been linked to Polkaswap — click on Import and follow the prompts.)
4. Save your passphrase in a safe place (either write down the passphrase and store it physically (on paper, etc) in (a) very safe location(s) or keep it digitally in text format and encrypted, preferably offline)
Then tap Next step.
5. Confirm your passphrase by entering the words in the correct order.
6. Give your account a name & password, then tap Create Account
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Export JSON file… option downloads a JSON file to the device you are on. This file allows you to restore your account later if you lose access. Save your JSON file in a safe place and never share it with anyone.
7. Tap on the account you’ve just created to make it your active Polkaswap account.
