vaporizing the waves
of a scorching sea
sand turns to glass
under my naked feet
castaway on a sea of fire
that sweeps my orchard
in the dunes
the first orange tree
burns in fumes
and then another
is taken by the fire
coral transmutations
among igneous vineyards
where winged atoms
will spawn
clusters of molecules
