I was on a work errand in my work town. Given my role as a compliance officer, I had visited the county revenue office to process the yearly license at the local government revenue collection department. From where we are headquartered to the revenue collection office is about 5 kilometers.
I pressed the Windows logo + the L key on my laptop keyboard, grabbed a glass of water in the office kitchenette, and jumped onto the next motorbike. My workplace is in a rural setup — we serve smallholder farmers who mostly reside in the rural areas— this explains why, so we have to traverse an earthy road before accessing the tarmac.
However, I don't mean all non-profits serving the community operate from a rural setup. That is just the way of things at my workplace.
