PEOPLE ARE NOT KIND TO YOU AND HERE'S WHY
Understanding the reason behind unkind behavior
It pains me deeply, and I often find myself wondering, "Am I somehow to blame for the way you treat me?" Understanding this could ease my suffering since it feels like what I give is returned to me, which would make sense to me. However, in this instance, I haven’t done anything wrong to warrant such treatment.
In reality, you hardly know me, and it hurts to think that someone I’ve just met could be so harsh. I’m not asking for your kindness, but I certainly don’t deserve the cruelty either—so why not just let me be?
This overwhelming thought led me to reflect and write down some insights for you below. I hope you take the time to read them thoughtfully for your own benefit.
First and foremost, it's important to grasp that humans have a natural propensity for selfishness. We are wired to prioritize our own needs and desires above others. Keeping this in mind, I have arrived at the following conclusions:
Kindness manifests in three ways: kindness aimed at receiving something in return, kindness originating from a place of light (where by 'light,' I refer to individuals who embody the goodness of God), and kindness as an act of reciprocity.
