We all want to reach more people on Medium.

Unfortunately, many writers make the mistake of writing articles that put insomniacs to sleep. I can speak from experience because I used to do this all of the time back in 2020. I never made much money, and I wasted a lot of time.

AI is now available, and it can be difficult to know what is real and what isn’t. The days of seeing words such as “ever-evolving world,” “delve,” “embrace,” and “digital age” are pretty much over.

AI still has a few sentence structure patterns that make it obvious, but I’m not here to tell you all of the tricks.

Many of these AI writers use prompts to avoid getting detected by AI detectors. Of course, anyone with experience using these detectors knows they don’t work.

I have better luck asking my cat if an article is AI or not.

Anyway, I didn’t mean to ramble on. I’m making one big change to my publication, and that means only articles that are told in your own voice will be accepted.

In other words, articles that look like they came straight from Wikipedia will be rejected. Even if you really wrote boring…
