I walked away from the tech corporate world without a grand backup plan. Just a decision to bet on myself. I’ve now stepped into freelancing with no portfolio, no testimonials, and no track record in this new world. I only had the skills and experience from my previous role, still unknown to the world. As you can imagine, I quickly ran into heavy competition and silence from clients.
Instead of waiting for opportunities, I started creating solutions using real challenges from job posts. Each one is a chance to build skills, share my thinking, and show what I can do.
Some details are changed for privacy, but the problems and solutions are real. This is the first in a series where I break down how I turn challenges into buildable solutions (usually under 2 days with breaks, because I’m not an AI).
