Recently I saw a comment from an upset father on Facebook that made me think, "What year am I?"
He said that he was watching the Pixar movie "" with his family, and then the topic of periods popped up, and he didn't know what to say to his sons. He was irritated because there was no warning about it in the movie description.
Well, well, well, Mr. Dad.
This guy probably is a millennial.
I could predict that my parent's generation would feel very uncomfortable talking about periods, mostly without being prepared and triggered by a movie. I can remember my parents' horror faces when I was around ten years old and asked, "What is sperm?" because it was mentioned in a TV show.
But a millennial having this reaction? It was a shock for me.
Then I watched the movie, and it was one of the most excellent movies I've seen in the last few months. I totally related to the protagonist!
So I did research in English to learn more about the movie, and then I was shocked again.
