Acceptance is the key to all my problems today, when I can accept who I am, then I can be who I am..... Micheal Josephson.
The beauty in this world lie in our differences, just imagine a world where everyone, and everything is the same…. wouldn't that be boring?
Being able to accept that difference and use it to create a better place is what really matters.
Entomophagy, the practice of eating insects is acceptable in several places around the world, some provinces in China consider scorpion as a delicacy and regions in Thailand, Mexico, Cambodia and so on consider certain insect as edible.
Countries like America, Canada and Australia do not totally accept entomophagy, with several states having regulations against it.
My point is this; what's acceptable in your place could be an abomination in another place and it's perfect, but the subject in this is you. Yes you, where you are could be the problem and reason why your ideas are not working.
I'll love to point out that McDonald's adapts its menu to local taste and preferences, offering different items in various countries, also initiatives promoting women education in Afghanistan will face significant challenges where cultural and social norms restrict women's access to school.
Earliest I write that the beauty of life lies in our differences, and what that really means is that we will never be the same but we all need to know what works for us, ideas which are what drive human innovation might be totally useless depending on what it's about and the location it's in.
Do not ever think your ideas will not be heard or your ideas are not needed even though it seems so, instead I'll love to let you know that your ideas are very much welcomed and important to the world but maybe not where you are. What you need could just be a little direction to the right place to make your idea bloom.
Adaptability; a necessary tool to get along with human differences should be put in place at all times, so as not to offend others when they practice their cultural norms, the moment we begin to reject some people culture because it's against ours that's when trouble starts.
I once saw a post on X where people were dragging a tribe in Nigeria because of a picture of a man and a lady getting married, everyone came to the assumption that the lady was underage because of her appearance but not until the lady made a video and told everyone her real age before the issue died down and people who actually knew her also testified to the fact that she's a graduate of a university and also not as young as she looks.
What I took from that Incident is that we all need to accept our differences and adapt to it so as to survive as a nation and as a people, eating of dig meat is very acceptable in parts of China, Nigeria and Vietnam but this practice is illegal in places like the USA, Australia, and not entirely banned in Canada, but then people from these aces will be laughed at if they spread their ideas about what dog can't be eaten to places where it's practiced.
The world is a large place with different cultures, and your ideas which seems to be unacceptable with time or with location will eventually become accepted, don't give up.
