Here’s why you shouldn’t care also
After nearly 20 years of meditation practice, I’ve learned some uncomfortable truths about my “sacred” routine. You may recognize yourself in this story.
In those early years, I was obsessed with creating the perfect meditation environment. Complete silence. Zero disturbances. An almost monastery-like atmosphere in my suburban home.
The irony wasn’t lost on me: I was meditating to cultivate peace yet becoming increasingly irritated when my practice was interrupted.
