Stay Present and Stop Overthinking
It begins by trusting life and giving way to peace
We live in a society of doers, always busy, trying to fit as many things as possible in our list, in our days, in our lives. We forget to play, to be present, and to rest and savor what is in front of us.
How many days go by without even enjoying what we do? How many people we talked to without actively participating in the conversation? How much attention are we placing in the present moment?
Nowadays, when I am on the phone I try to stop everything I am doing and focus on listening to the other person and engaging in the conversation without thinking what to say next.
A slight behavior change has deepened my relationships at every level.
Let’s contemplate…
Why try to control every aspect of life? When in reality it can change in seconds. Have you noticed how many things don’t go according to plan? And then later recognize it as a blessing in disguise.
Get out of the way. Trust Life. Let it be.
We spend too much time in our heads, dwelling on the past, speculating, and worrying about our future. Then we need to distract ourselves to avoid the pain and suffering we created. Never stopping.
