Turkey Wraps
A recipe
My mom is always experimenting with food. Right now, she is on a health kick, looking for high-protein, veggie dishes.
When I recently visited my mom in Florida, she made me her new recipe: turkey wraps. I am not a big coleslaw fan, so I was a little bit skeptical. I was not quite sure why she would add veggies to the meat. But, the combination was a fantastic way to increase veggie consumption while enhancing the turkey’s flavor.
As I always feel better after eating a high-protein, veggie meal, I decided to test out her new recipe. I was very happy with the outcome. The meal was fast, packed with nutrition, and scrumptious.
I also had leftovers to enjoy over the next few days. This is a dish that can easily be reheated and still be packed with flavor, which is important as I usually do not like leftovers.
If you are trying to kick off 2025 with a healthier diet, give these a try.
