My story of time-wasting to becoming time-focused
I’ve never had a moment where I woke up one day and aspired to be a writer. I’ve never had significant aspirations for any particular career path.
As a well-educated private school girl, I did what I was expected to do and went to university after high school. I began studying for a psychology degree but only learned that I wanted to avoid a career in listening to other people’s problems.
Writing was something that found me.
As a naturally restless person, I seem to have a brain where ideas always jump out at me, and I find it challenging to sit still in silence.
Writing became a way to kill time.
I started writing about my travel escapades while on a long-haul flight. I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to write more about the exotic places I’d visited and create lists of all the hidden gems I’d discovered.
My husband and I began working on a startup four years ago
