The Perfectly Matched Couple

I passed through a window in a mall and saw a perfectly matched couple. Both were teamed up in blue and beige and looked happy together.

They both looked comfortable, displaying the lovely outfits, and each passerby noticed their height. Some did not like them because they were so tall, and the passerby could not fit the bill. Others did not like their dress, so they just passed on.

I found the couple quite happy together. They had to make others happy and could not sit down even if they wanted to.

This was a lesson for many of us who watched them, and it is important to make other people happy in their lives.

Though these were mannequins or sculptures, I thought about how many seasons they must have spent together. Every season, they were dressed in different attire, and so many people must have passed by them.

If they were real people, they would have been hurt that no one offered to talk to them or take them out for a meal. Would they be thirsty or hungry? Do they have children that they miss? Is there anyone to care for them?

Though it was just another day, or another mall but I saw the two as they were frozen holding hands with intimacy. They were still and silent, yet loud enough…
