On The Karmic Loop
A poem about pride, karma, fate, and life purpose.
Weight of world on one’s shoulders
Held low by invisible ties
Everything falls apart
The magic glue won’t piece together the vision in mind
With a full tank of karma
Filled by my soul’s messenger
In spite of Me, despite them
The struggles repeat to no end
Embarked again on familiar cycles
On the karmic loop, on repeat
Fight off slings and arrows
Never meant for me
Weather storms of karma
Heal cycles of generational trauma
I lost myself in a world
That never belonged to me
That’s not true!
I deny my mistakes
Old habits too hard to break
I lie to justify my ways
Those things don’t exist!
I thought myself above my maker
Placed my desires above my angels’
Stubbornness I use to shield my shame
Chose self-interest over faith
Denied a realm I could not embrace
Failed to replace destiny with my lesson
Never stood a chance…
