Reality Shaped
Ego energetically scribbled. At times, an outsider might believe these walls resembled one found in the basement of a conspiracy theorist, an extremist. Often, multi-colored webs tied together disparate thoughts. A broader view was needed to gain insight…but was frequently lacking.
Ego could look through both lenses, more than one place at the same time, a paradox. Factoring in the work performed to interpret the data, the ability to make it more digestible for the higher ups, and the time to tell those stories in a simplified manner could leave a human mind fractured.
This tower of luxury generally felt very lonely. Ego deemed it a curse to be forced to look down for all eternity. There was never any rest; the requests handed down were continuous. On occasion, the fatigue felt would cause Ego, through unconscious body language, to tell the unfiltered story.
Fragilely laying on a golden fleece couch, Psyche hesitantly murmured, ‘What do you see?’
