So, you’ve felt that spark of inspiration, that nudge that sends you to prop open that laptop or journal and start jotting down your ideas, creating your characters, building your worlds, and creating that new work of art you just know will stand out.
Once you feel you’ve gotten down all the details, taken notes of important events, and mapped out the basics, the next question arises: how do I get started?
The Novel Route.
Creating my first novel was such an amazing experience. It wasn’t at all what I expected, as this was my first crack at it, but as I started to craft my story, the most exciting part was seeing the characters come to life, problems arise on their own, and solutions weave their way into the story creatively based on the characters personas.
