5 Things I’ve Learned Living With Buddhist Nuns
Life is really simpler than we all try to make it
I have recently spent some time in a Buddhist monastery, living among ninety Vietnamese nuns.
If you think that’s random… it kinda was.
I stumbled upon this beautiful monastery when I was traveling around Da Lat. I sat down to meditate in the main temple, trying to ignore myriads of tourists around me, taking selfies with the Buddha statue.
Suddenly, a monk approached me and asked if I wouldn’t like to live here for a while and meditate in a calmer environment.
An intense “YES!” fell out of my mouth before he even managed to finish the question.
