Is Project 2025 Happening?

Or was it all just talk?

For a while we heard a lot about Project 2025. Liberals were taken aback at the brazen plan to turn the American democracy into something much different than it is and was and was assumed to always be. Of course, most folks really knew little then (and now) about it. Nine-hundred dead dry pages. Who is going to spend an evening curled up by the fire and settle into a nice long read of the grand design?

Well, for one, not me. No sir. I have read excerpts and longer sections. Just enough to give me the creeps. They say in that book, that they want to redo over two centuries of struggle for justice, American jurisprudence, and hard-won freedoms. Some people didn’t make it in those struggles. Lynched. Tarred and feathered. Or like the mob sent to the capital on Jan. 6, there were killers who killed and got away with it. I read just enough to convince me that where the framers of Project 2025 wanted to take us was somewhere I didn’t want to go.
