The rarest treasures
are the innocent thoughts in
the mind of a child

There is something undeniably tender about the way a child perceives and interacts with the world.

Ironically we need to be adults, devoid of that perspective, to appreciate it.

Their innocence is sweet.

It’s a significant event when an Indian child is presented to their first classical arts teacher.

The onus of the teacher is to accept the responsibility over the cultural education of the child. The single responsibility of the student is to learn humility and reverence for the teacher and their lessons.

It must have come as quite a surprise to my teacher then, when I pulled out toy cars from my pocket and drove them all over the organ during this hallowed event.

Their innocence can be sour as well.

Innocence and ignorance travel hand in hand.

Ignorance of the dangers around all children.
