Podcasts are an important part of book marketing, for two reasons:
- When you spend an hour, or even 20 minutes, discussing your book with a sympathetic listener, you can turn potential readers into actual readers.
- A podcaster typically reads your book before interviewing you. This allows for a meaningful conversation with relevant questions about your book and in-depth answers, which can increase your readership.
