In urban areas, women enjoy access to education, employment, and a say in matters that shape their lives. Yet, just a few miles away, in villages, women struggle to be heard; education for girls is deemed unnecessary, early marriages persist, and women are expected to remain silent, submissive, and preoccupied with caring for others.
These women yearn for more than what is offered to them. They dream of becoming teachers, doctors, or business owners. But society’s belief that they are destined to serve rather than lead prevents them from voicing their aspirations.
