A Double Drabble is a fiction story of exactly 200 words. No more, no less.

For the Prequel: Here

I looked around in a daze and saw bright lights around and above me. Usually, they were only above. But now I felt surrounded. While usually that would freak me out, this time I felt I could breathe better. Breathe better?

While trying to find the energy to move my muscles, I noticed the feel of my skin. It felt lighter than it should, cleaner. Where the heck was I?

The last thing I remembered was looking up at the clouds, and something crashed. Maybe it was a UFO, and I was up in space?

I chuckled internally, knowing that the chances of it just being someone’s hard hat falling were much more probable. Whatever it was, it knocked me flat, feeling this clean after the mines took time. Though if I’m truly honest, the last time I felt this good, I was probably just a baby. Or maybe when I was in the womb. No dirt in there.
