It is just the second week of April, and summer is yet to come, but the heat you feel nowadays is a clear harbinger of a tough summer to come. Planning a weekend is no longer a creative activity; it becomes quite predictable to visit malls and explore the long and never-ending outlets akin to the famous rabbit hole of Alice in Wonderland.

While shopping and window shopping, one does come across things one wishes to buy. This is exactly what happened to me last weekend. I visited a new mall quite close to my home. While surfing from one outlet to another, I came across a desktop mobile holder.

Without wasting any time, I asked a salesman roaming right next to the same aisle to give me a demo of the product. In my heart, I was overjoyed just like a kid who was about to get their favorite toy.

The product was of simple specification and easy to handle. I thanked him for his service and headed toward the counter to pay the bill. After paying and getting out of the outlet, I was extremely happy thinking that my day at the mall had been productive as I got what I aimed to buy for a long time.

After coming home, I got busy unwrapping my desktop mobile holder and tried it with my mobile. Finally, I knew I would be able to capture beautiful moments by making small videos of unboxing books, making reviews and being of a wonderful nature.

Sharing it with family and friends and using it for my Medium account was also of utmost concern. After spending a lot of time with it and making a few amateur videos, I was satisfied with the product.

In this entire incident, I realized that I had not just bought a long-awaited treat for myself but had also saved some money for rainy days.

Being an adult managing your finances along with your wishlist is an accomplishment of another level.

I thank God for blessing me with parents who nurtured some really good habits in me. The most beautiful and satisfying one is finding joy in little things; it restrains you from extravagance and makes you grateful!
