Plummeting home prices? People are done with 1 hot US state

Certain topics really get people’s blood boiling, perhaps none more than the “great” state of Texas.

In fact, of the 500+ stories I’ve written on this site, few have generated a more emotional response than this one about 1 popular American state you should never move to.

As I wrote then:

“Texas is hot right now, and I’m not just talking about the weather.

“With low taxes and a very business-friendly climate, wealthy people and big companies are flocking to the Lone Star state.

“But is what makes Texas great for business the same thing that makes it terrible for people?

“Is it possible that Texas is actually the worst place to live in America?”

The crux of that piece was that although Texas is a great home for corporations, quality-of-life factors make it less-than-ideal for actual human beings.

Much like the American political climate at present (well, always), people were extremely divided.

People who hate Texas had plenty of brutal comments about the weather, the political climate, the people.

And those who love Texas?

They were displeased, to say the least.

Many of their comments amounted to telling anyone who disliked the state to get the hell out.
