U.S. Congress Agrees To 3rd Stopgap Spending Bill To Avert Govt Shutdown

U.S. lawmakers this week passed legislation that will ensure there is no partial government shutdown this weekend.

now heads to President Biden’s desk for his signature. It pushes two separate funding deadlines to March 1 and 8, respectively.

This follows the recent announcement of an agreement between House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer on 2024's spending levels.
