Culinary medicine is a in medicine that blends the art of food and cooking with the science of medicine. It helps people make the best possible choice on food in order to treat or prevent disease. And just like nutrition and diet are different for everyone, culinary medicine is meant to help people with specific diseases to make the right choices.
Why now?
It is never the wrong time to do things that make us healthier. But food is becoming more of a topic of discussion within the medical field because things are not getting better when it comes to trends of chronic conditions worldwide.
