Professor Oppenheimer led them to an ancient battlefield. They were in India. Lara knew it right away. Papa and Raul were still confused, they remained silent observing their surroundings. Gone was the comforting cave in Tibet.

The four of them hovered at a distance. They could see multiple factions about to fight it out.

“What is happening?” Asked Lara.

“The royal lineage has come into conflict. Two sets of cousins each believe that they are the rightful heirs. On one side are five brothers. On the other, a hundred sons of a blind reagent.” They all nodded for the professor to go on.

“The third Pandava brother, Arjuna, and his brothers have some special help. See Arjuna, there in the chariot? See his companion?” They did see. There was a beautifully ornate chariot, and inside were two men. They were dazzling in their splendor. And so was the entire battlefield, for that matter.

They saw elephants draped in gold and armor glittering with gems. There were flags of all colors, battle standards indicating might. The countryside was fresh and green with fervent life. The air was sweeter than any of the modern observers had ever experienced…
