Uber barely survived the leadership of founder Travis Kalanick. So many scandals and allegations of unethical behaviour, regulatory issues and poor workplace reputation nearly took them under until Kalanick finally resigned.
Any suggestion of scandal can wreak havoc on an individual or a company.
