About Me — Jenny Kile

Hi! Please let me introduce myself. I’m Jenny. I’m a writer, a treasure historian, game enthusiast, entrepreneur, and founder of Kardtects Building Cards.
I’m also a wife (celebrating 35 years), mom of 4, and currently a grandmother of 3. My husband and I recently became official empty nesters this past spring. With this newfound time, we have a lot of projects planned. And when not working on these together, I’ll be writing.
I’ve actually been writing for over the past 10 years, but even though I managed a couple blogs and wrote a couple of books, it was casual writing. Something I did on the side. It was never my ‘main’ thing. However, I’m changing this. I’ve created aggressive writing goals for myself, and it is something I’m now taking seriously.
I recently joined Medium, to not only learn, but to be part of a writing community. I can already see the encouragement for writers this community provides. It’s exciting. I’m glad to be here.
I think if I share some of my past writing projects, they will share more about me.
My first two books Cat Tails and A Life for Gnarly were inspired by animals on our farm. These are children’s books and are photographic fantasies.
