Background

Traveling photographers have been around for as long as dinosaurs, but they’re more fun. They usually hang out at tourist spots, events, or other public places, offering . They take photos of people passing by from the side of the road, on a bridge, or in a booth with a cool backdrop. Potential customers can see the results of their photos in other places and decide whether to print or buy them in digital form. It's so easy!

Well, now there is a cool app called . It's like Tinder, but for photos. Photographers (creators) and Yusers (models) are brought together through facial recognition technology. So, you can find your candid photos taken by traveling photographers through this app. Fun, right?

This technological revolution is very important to document. Therefore, this study tries to document the process of using the FotoYu application. Like a photo documentation that will be very valuable in the future, who knows, someone might need this study for further research. Get ready to be a part of history, okay!

Methodology

Data Collection Approaches and Techniques

This study uses a qualitative approach to document the experience of using the FotoYu application. According to , qualitative methods are used to examine the condition of objects naturally. The researcher is the main instrument in data collection, which is carried out through triangulation (combination) and inductive data analysis. The focus is more on meaning than generalization. This approach allows researchers to be closer to the objects being studied, because researchers directly observe the objects.

Data were collected through participant observation and literature review. In participant observation , researchers directly experience and observe the activities of photographers using the FotoYu application. While the literature review collects data from various forms of relevant documents, photos, audio recordings, and videos.

Analysis

Data analysis is the process of collecting data systematically to make it easier for researchers to draw conclusions. Data analysis involves organizing data obtained from interviews, field notes, and other materials so that it is easy to understand and the findings can be communicated to others.

Qualitative data analysis is inductive, that is, based on the data obtained. According to , analysis consists of three streams of activities that occur simultaneously:

1. Data Reduction: The process of selecting, focusing on simplifying, abstracting, and transforming the raw data that emerges from field notes. Data reduction continues throughout the research, from data collection to the preparation of the final report.

2. Data Presentation: Presenting a set of organized information that allows for drawing conclusions and taking action. Data presentation can be in the form of matrices, graphs, networks, and charts that make it easier for researchers to see what is happening and determine the next steps.

3. Drawing Conclusions: Drawing conclusions and verification are carried out during the research. Conclusions are tested for their truth, robustness, and compatibility with other relevant data to ensure their validity. Final conclusions are verified to be truly accountable.

The data analysis process uses the Miles and Huberman interactive data analysis model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.

Work result

The end result is a fun story about the photographer's experience using the FotoYu app, research conclusions, and some advice. All of this will be published on jeetwincasinos.com !

Timeline

So, here's our plan for the next few months. Get ready!
