The Magic Beanbag
In the corner, sits a beanbag. It is large, soft, and deep. If you lie quietly on the beanbag and close your eyes, something magical happens……..
One day, James and Armina came back from shopping with their mother.
“Now, I need to unpack the shopping before I make lunch. Do you two think you can play nicely for a little while?” asked their mother.
“Yes, Mother,” replied James. Armina yawned, and James rubbed his eyes.
The children went into the lounge and began to play, but Armina was sleepy, so she lay on the beanbag in the corner. James came and lay beside her. Before they knew it, they were drifting off…..
Suddenly, something very odd was happening. Very gently, the beanbag rose up from the ground. It floated out through the window and high into the air. Armina held James’ hand, but neither of them felt scared as the beanbag hardly swayed at all. Higher and higher they rose until they could see their town from the air.
The beanbag took them across the country, across the sea, and then across more land. In the distance, the children could see some mountains, and the beanbag sped towards them. They flew high over the mountains and then swooped down into valleys. Eventually, they came to one mountain peak which rose above the others, and the bean bag rose over the top and down into a…
