So that was the rumpus room. Unfortunately, who has time to rumpus these days, what with work, the children’s survivalist courses, all the depositions. But we’re sure glad we have it on those chilly Sunday mornings when all you want to do is curl up and rumpus.
Now, continuing the tour, I’m so excited to show you this next room. We just put on this addition last year, and it’s been a lifesaver. This is our plastic container annex. We’ve moved all our containers out of the kitchen cupboards. Well, first we moved them to the garage, then we moved them to the rumpus room. But then we finally bit the bullet and built this extension.
Are you ready? Stand back a little, because sometimes when you open the door, the plastic containers come spilling out.
No, all good. I guess Jeff must have been in here earlier. I can see someone’s beaten a path through the jumble of sour cream lids. He probably wanted to escape the nagging phone calls from the press. Just watch your step.
So, yes, this is the container annex. It holds our entire collection. Well, when I say “entire,” you never have an entire collection of containers. There are always more to be added. It’s really an endless stream of rinsed yogurt tubs and ready-to-serve soup bowls. Because you never know…
