Sell Me This Pen
I have a friend who accompanies me everywhere. This loyal companion was there when I bought my house, wrote my first love, aced my exams and accepted my last job. I’m speaking about my pen.
From the moment one’s birth certificate is signed, the most important milestones in our life usually involve some sort of writing implement. In the age of AI, handwriting is both a refuge from the digital world and proof of our humanity. The practicality of jotting quick notes should not be ignored nor should the power of a handwritten letter. In many cases the pen truly is mightier than the sword. I believe it deserves a little respect. Such an important tool should not be taken home from the office or swiped from a customer service desk. You should take the time to choose a writing pen that speaks to you, meets your needs, and is an extension of your body. I can’t tell you which pen is right for you any more than I can tell you which clothes to wear, what pocketknife to carry or which car to buy. However, I can do my best to point you in the right direction.
